Prom is often a brilliant but emotional night. It’s the last big event that you will be celebrating with all your school friends before you all go your separate ways for college, sixth form or employment. Whilst the previous song was all about remembering the good times, this song is more about creating the good times!

What’s better than a song talking about having a really good night? Prom only lasts the one evening, so leave all your worries about the future at the door and having a fantastic evening!

“It’s like I have waited my whole life for this one night // cause we’ve only got one night”

The lyrics to the song are perfect for summing up some of the feelings that people will be having about attending prom. It’s often an event that you have looked forward to for a long time, and it’s important that you make the one night memorable. It’s also a pretty romantic song, so if you’re attending prom with your significant other – it’s perfect!

Don’t You Worry Child by Swedish House Mafia

We think this is a beautiful song and would make a really good addition to your prom playlist. It’s one of the best songs by Swedish House Mafia, and is a perfect way to say goodbye to your high school life. It was the final song for the band before they broke up, so something about that seems very fitting…
